Women Above Power is a non-profit organization dedicated to the strong spirit of women facing life's toughest challenges. We provide support for women overcoming domestic violence, abuse, homelessness, job loss, unfair work practices, and the unique struggles of single mothers.

About Us

How We Help

Getting support through Women Above Power is simple and compassionate. When a new member fills out our Support Form, they’ll let us know what kind of help they need across our five core pillars: mental health, safe shelter, food and nutrition, family support, and career help.

After submitting the form, a dedicated case worker will reach out to connect them with personalized resources and referrals from our trusted network of over 25 local partners. From there, members are welcomed into a supportive community, through group chats, newsletters, and events, where they can connect with other members, board leaders, and our founder. We walk with you every step of the way.
