Exploring Abuse & DV Week 2: The Impact of DV on Women

Exploring Abuse & DV Week 2: The Impact of DV on Women

This week, we continued our six-part series Exploring Abuse & DV with Ruby Raja, Author, Certified Trauma Facilitator & Trainer (ACCPH), and Founder of Inshiraa.com—  a platform dedicated to healing from trauma.

In this session, Ruby helped us explore how the experience of domestic violence can affect women on many levels: emotionally, mentally, and physically. Understanding those impacts is the first step toward recovery. Through gentle discussion and reflection, participants were encouraged to look at patterns of response, healing, and empowerment in a safe, supportive space.

If you haven’t yet joined us for this series, there’s still time to register for the upcoming sessions:

Remember, healing doesn’t happen all at once. Go at your own pace, honor your process, and know that you are supported every step of the way.
